Welcome to my personal website! Brief bio:

Andy is a Ph.D. student at the Center for Digital Innovation & Department of Computer Information Systems, Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University; he works under the supervision of Professor Arun Rai. His research centers around AI governance and future of work.

Before Ph.D., Andy conducted tech policy research at think tanks, including the Brookings Institution; he earned his Bachelor’s (Statistics + Political Science) and Master’s (Business) degrees from the University of Virginia.

He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for leading journals and conferences. He has also served as Teaching Assistant for multiple math/statistics, programming, and business analytics courses at UVA.

May 04, 2026 Presented my paper at Georgia Tech proposing that LLM outages can serve as a novel way to evaluate the quality of firm-level cybersecurity personnel hiring.
Apr 22, 2026 Presented my ongoing project at GSU on how AI governance can help create more jobs for people, rather than letting AI simply replace them.
